ok i'm excited, so i figured i'd make a mini prompt for an unofficial first week ! if you don't feel like doing it, i'll have a new prompt on monday the 12th as well :]

hi y'all, i'm curious: would you be interested in a sort of neocities writing club thing? smth low-pressure: maybe like a prompt per week for you to write whatever you're inspired to write in response to... unsure! i think it could be cute :] i wanna write more, n stuff like this really motivates me. wondering if others feel the same

It sounds fun to me :) I'd have to see what sort of prompts they are, but I'd like to push myself creatively a bit more, so if you make the club I'll probably join

yeah for sure ! usually i like to mess around with word pools (like "droplet, ladybug, molasses, kindness" or something) for my own writing bc they're widely applicable to different kinds of writing, but i'd also definitely be open to adjusting based on interest/preference of members !

Thanks! It's super outdated, since the last time I updated it I've found a really detailed book on Aztec/Mexica mythos and history and would like to add it soon. Really I find that irl books are a better resource for it than online since online is dominated by Nordic/Celtic stuff on the anglo web-being unable to speak Spanish can really curb research on this stuff for sure :/
I'm not sure where you live, but if you live in North America and have Barnes and Noble I highly rec "The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Aztec & Maya"! No one reads history and mythology stuff when they go to B&N so you should be able to grab it for cheap. It all works out in the end-no one buys them, they go on sale, and I (and any other mythology/history nerd) get a bunch of resources for cheap!
