Richard Burton and Julie Andrews? That didn't sound right. Then I looked it up and discovered you were referring to a stage production. Wasn't aware of that! I love the movie. Wonder what it would have been like with them in the starring roles?
aw thanks folks! just testing out new design stuff :) the text is just filler here, but the Camelot stuff comes from some long-form writing about the musical 😅 I never really liked or understood the musical until I saw this production from the 80s that they played on HBO, and it sent me down a rabbit hole lol.
I don't know if they'll ever see the light of day, but I do have outlines for a number of essays about why I love the show, what works and what doesn't, and what I think various productions get right or (more often) wrong
