I like how despite the poems being wildly different in format and content, they still communicate a very consistent and visceral artistic voice. love the Perpetual Grilled Cheese one!
love how descriptive the piece is, and how fluid and adaptable the format is too!
@lostletters thank you so much - and nice, always great to hear about more people picking up the sport!
i just went through reading all of ur previous works and wow. WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YOUR WORK IS SO GOOD!!!!
@symphonic thank you!! that's really flattering, so glad you enjoyed my work :)
very powerful imagery, I really like the concept of systemhood as this river with different currents that are interconnected yet distinct from each other (that is if I read it correctly, apologies if not)!
@ryo you can read it however you want!! but thank you so much, i'm glad you got that image/idea from it :) there was a lot i was trying to say with this piece and i'm glad i could say at least some of it!
I really like the recurring theme of the waves, claiming everything for themselves regardless of their history. it's a very gentle poem, I like it a lot!
I really like the format, I think it really gets across this sort of dichotomy of hope and despair finding their synthesis in the compromise of existence. It's quite powerful in its simplicity, I really like it!
I love how precise and visceral the descriptions of june 11th are, they make the poem feel very much live. I also adore june 17th, there is something almost brutal in how short it is and how much it leaves open to the viewer. great job!
thank u for reading ryo, it rlly warms my heart to hear ur perspectives! ;__; <3
