What was your inspiration/methods for the glyphs for the different disciplines? Side-note, I love the somaturge/white mage the most.
Good question! I kinda thought, what is the quintessential symbol people associate with each class in a DnD sense and in an everyday sense? And then I got cracking. Witches get a classic pentagram, wizards get a tome and pen, any magic class with somatic elements have hand motifs like druids and white mages, and summoners get a keyhole because they call on the other side. It's kinda like...thinking literally
But also abstract at the same time. As for the cleric/paladin symbol, that's super linked to the world that hasn't been introduced yet LOL but that's just Tovera's religious motif-a diamond for the four virtues that helped found the empire.
And thanks! I definitely think white mage has the strongest of them in design, it's super cute. I'd love to have it as a sticker or charm or something lol
