I've only ever used Windows. As long as the programs open and work, then I'm a happy camper.
I have limited experience. I haven't done any other website except the one here on neocities. But I do like the control of working with HTML and CSS.
That is an interesting point. I wouldn’t be surprised if I were the only person within 1/2 a mile using Debian and PM, ha. PM is an interesting thing. I like it. But a thing I don’t like: its forum. It came off a bit too toxic/elitist to me. Tried to ask a few questions and tried to discuss politel, but wasn’t met with nearly the same attitudes from most. Unfortunate, no?
Thanks! The site's simple design comes from my laziness ;). Yes, Debian to me seems to sit in an excellent middle-ground between something totally manual (Slackware or Arch I suppose) and something almost entirely automated (Windows/*buntu/etc). It sure was fun building the system from the ground up like Slackware but with easier tools.
