In all honesty, I have no idea why it's held on thursdays either - but they've apparently been held on thursday evenings since Ye Olde Days. Used to start at 9pm, but recently we've been trying 8pm - but I guess they might be up to try fridays if you mention it to the others.

Yep, that's right - Spamton got permadeathed (in a pretty anti-climactic way). I've archived his death (and written his postmortem). Winnie has taken his place for now. Spamton may return in the future - depends on how lucky Winnie is.

You likely to be doing absolutely nothing at 8pm BST tomorrow (thursday 19/9/24)? Yes? Why not try playing MUD2 and join in the National Talk Like A Pirate Day-themed mob bash? Okay, there are options. If you know what email address you used to sign up, that should help with recovering your account (the process might be done manually though so idk how long it would take. may speed up if you join the (un) official discord and ask about it there? idk how exactly that process works though). Or you could just create a new account (with different email) and use that instead.

That's an environmental death (or a 'Stupid Death'), not a death death (a permadeath). Stupid Deaths aren't permadeaths, so feel free to log back in and try again! (you will need to re-obtain any glowing stuff yourself though)
