i don't think word count is a problem at all! your reviews are great, no matter how long or short they are ^_^
talk as much as you want, it's your website, and a lot of these games are old and somewhat obscure nowadays so it's nice to see them get the attention
i think being thorough is pretty much always a positive! if you're worried about length, maybe you could keep an eye out for any redundant points, but i don't think you've had that problem. i love your reviews so longer and more in depth is what i wanna see 🙌
Very in-depth is something I very much appreciate honestly! Extensive analysis is just a joy when the writer has so much to say about different aspects that interest them
I was having some odd (let's say, spooky) issues where the review was coming up with pieces from my E.T review - it should be displaying the correct review now, but let me know if anything looks odd!
This game used to be in my family's game boy game shoebox, but I never played it. I made the right choice.
Oh I remember playing this as a kid. I don't know why but in many of these liscense games I never managed to get far and I always kinda used cheat codes
Oh yeah this one is really cool. For so long I thought it was practically some kind of VHS Search Engine to look for VHS tapes or something, But the fact that it's a Neocities search engine is really cool. Wished It was named something else.
I'm constantly craving more Mario games that depict the universe in the style of the RPGs of this era, the Mario universe is so weird and ridiculous and fun and it's easy to forget that with how by-the-books other games in the series can be in terms of locales and level design. BeanBean Kingdom and Rogueport are both very dear to me, ahaha
Sure it's a remake, but SMRPG coming out next month has me over the moon. More RPGS please....
My gf is a huge Castlevania fan but has some similar hangups with Circle of the Moon, especially with the awkward last third difficulty spike and grind ahaha. I just got the Advance collection recently so I'll end up playing soon too
Enjoy! The switch release doesn't quite fix a ton of the inherent issues but it certainly makes it a bit palatable.
