I have a special fondness of the weird experimental action-adventure-RPG esque Bomberman games. One of my absolute favourite N64 games for instance is Bomberman 64: The Second Attack which I believe is criminally underrated! By the sounds of things Tournament is similar (though 2nd Attack is all dungeons so to speak, no overworld), so Tournament is something I'm interested in trying.
Oh I also found the comments about playing Bomberman for the story to be really funny because the story is a big draw of Second Attack for me, that game's story is so ridiculously over-the-top and melodramatic like a typical save-the-world JRPG plot completely out of place in a cutesy action-adventure puzzle game and it's both hilarious and kind of actually unironically hype as it escalates to the stratosphere ahaha
I really want to play the 64 Bomberman games, they look like such a vibe and unique experience for that console.
Sounds interesting, I spent many summers playing 4 player SNES Bomberman 1-5 with my family but they were nothing like this. I've never played 64 or any 3D Bombermans either!
I used to ride horses as a kid and tbf, even though its been two decades, I never remember reversing the horse so I'm pretty sure they got that detail right. Also I love music that accidentally completely changes the entire mood and atmosphere of a game, eg David Wise's funy monky vgm for DKC
@radpage It goes to show that I really don't know that much about horses, I always just figured they were taught to back up, but I suppose that makes sense ahaha
Playing games has got to be fun, have to take a break if it starts to feel like work!
