Maybe a splash page would be better than a popup? Personally, I think the colors look awesome, but I could understand if someone got eyestrain after reading it for awhile. Websites usually do not have warnings for that sort of thing because people can change the colors of webpages with their browser settings. Warnings for flashing images/video are useful though (because you have to avoid them if you have epilepsy).

okay i will add a splash page!! but im currently like 10 miles away from any computer rn and coding on phones is a bitch...... when i get to my garments house i can use the computer there,, i already have a splash page planned soo i will get right to it!!

if neocities was a place I think it would be this big utopia, and there’s no one who gets upset at each other and everyone is happy, and it’s a HUGEEEE city and there’s cool houses and buildings and stuff!!!! and there’s no pollution or discrimination!!!

@44nifty It is a lovely idea though, and one needs to start with a vision before they can help to create it. I'm just glad that Chip is still cheerful despite some of the things that have happened here in the past few months. Upsets happen sometimes; what matters more is if the people involved can work through them.
