I agree with all of this, but I needn't opine on sanctimonious posturers or calculated, often government-sponsorted iconoclasts; Burgess, then Dalrymple tackled those topics far more exhaustively or cogently than I could.
Social media is largely a cesspit, but so much of it that isn't censorially misadministered into oblivion is still distinguishable by popular dissent from legacy news outlets. A lot of people are dedicated to verity in counterposting, even if only by dint of burner accounts.
I sure love listening to this boomer yell into his speaker phone and make a complete ass of himself all day long. I've never met a person who has held a job longer while being less qualified in my life.
