Regarding the incident with your grandma glimpsing the dollz bases, the same thing happened to me once with my mom!

Oh my gosh I also had my mum walk in on me editing a naked doll base when I was around 13. I was using those horrible anime style bases from DeviantART T0T at least she found it funny

is that dolls story what binds us all? I had both my mom and my dad walk in on me separately so I had to explain it to both of them. My mom got it pretty quickly, I told her it was just like dressing up dolls in real life. My dad was much more worried lol

Thank god I never had my parents catch me with naked dollz; I probably would have been banned from the computer for half a year or something. Your poor scandalized grandmother, lmao!

great new article from you robyn! i've been lucky enough to not have to deal with our wretched health care system is until just last year and it's saddening to acknowledge how many people have lost their lives over preventable causes because of it. hopefully the more informed everyone is, the more we can push for change.

Re: the story of your grandma walking in on you making a pixel doll | I've long wondered what my grandmothers closest to me would have thought of any of my art. One knew I wrote stories when I was little but never asked about what. I think they might note have cared any more than my mother does about what I write or draw. But it's far to late to know now..

Anyhow, great article on "deny, defend, depose". I used to write similar breakdowns for closed writing groups. Yours is better.
