Aaaand we’ve moved — i’ll try to keep you folks updated with any new pages that crop up, don’t worry
finally fulfilled my promise and fancied up the list of other armigerous netizens
Nice work, but it's slightly inaccurate to the blazon... There should be a window above the door, and both openings should be white
My reasoning is relatively simple — Neocities’ built-in community features are wonderful, and no doubt drive most of the traffic to my website, but it is slowly killing me not to have any way of meaningful interaction on the site itself (and that making posts on the blog is such a faff). I want real, actual comments and forms, no substitutes accepted, gosh darn it!
I’ll probably maintain a little "portal" redirecting to any new stuff, just so that it still shows up on people's feeds
And, hey, you can always still keep up via RSS (shout-out to Fraidycat, which is excellent if you don't want your everything feed to look like an email inbox)
I've definitely been annoyed at the lack of dynamic content features - especially since I could actually get a server with them for cheaper - so I can emphasise with such a move. But I would only actually only pull the plug when you've sure you've got the audience to sustain it.
If you’d like to be part of the NEOcharts, please reply to this post with a link to your Last.fm account!
I would like to let you know that certain adblockers block the site statistics script
I am, alas, aware — but I think these stats are good enough on aggregate
(Hell, *my* ad blocker blocks it — i have it turned off for my own website, but still)
hehe the new zealand views on your site are probably from me
(also, how do you collect this info? is it something you get for supporting neocities monetarily?)
Nope — my site isn’t even hosted on Neocities anymore! I use GoatCounter for analytics — it’s reasonably non-invasive; all i really see is the information listed on the page as well as where people got referred from
I've been wondering: how do you get your updates on Neocities then?
Well, ah, I don't think Neocities has actually realised I've stopped paying for Supporter yet, so it still redirects everything to marijn.uk
