Saqvk and a veeery early iteration of LatBS had pages but there's no continuity between the old and new ones, neither of them even had the same name
As long as the nth iteration of your site has had at least one page from the (n-1)th iteration, then there's continuity!
99% of old paintings of forests seem to be the butt-ugliest yellow you’ve ever seen, which i assume is just weathering over time, but it makes my job mighty annoying when what i’d really most like is a lovely viridian shade
Three sites delisted, three new sites, including the new oldest and newest sites on the list, respectively. Check ’em out.
Also, out of curiosity, i charted out how many sites come from each year, and to my surprise, there’s about as many “recent” sites as proper old ones: https://satyrs.eu/files/linkroll-sites-vs-date.png
Added video clips instead of static stills for the top 10 — think of it as a way of, uh, tipping your mobile network. :^)

If you remember when it looked like this you officially qualify for a veteran’s discount: https://satyrs.eu/files/old-frontpage.png
We are so back. Back during the Great Hiatus i decided against porting this page over to the new version of the site because it was a faff and quickly got dated, but i decided on a whim to do some behind-the-scenes wrangling so it can be updated automatically with each passing year
"Favorite HTML tag? details" NO, NOT LIKE THIS
I am your evil twin and it's time to accept that. I use CSS features my own daily driver doesn't support yet. I laugh in the face of anyone on a browser version two months behind. I am the night. I am HTML6man.
That second sentence is true btw, /latbs has a parallax scrolling orrery that shows up on Chromium browsers but not my own Firefox
details tag enjoying... 🤝 and of slowing down songs too (tho my go-to is thru foobar2000's effects dsp component)
That’s why shoegaze is so great. It sounds like it got run through the Audacity slowdown filter already. ;)
