As someone who does his game updates every quarter instead of every month, I have definitely gotten in the habit of jotting my thoughts down as I go instead of waiting until the end. You know. Mostly.

The way we eventually get rid of these things is to just leave the box somewhere for somebody else to find. Keep the tradition alive.

I recently unpacked my Surprise Skull (not real), a skull (fake) ornament I found in a student house and adopted years ago. My partner hates it.

@a-notes I appreciate the suggestion but based on past patterns I only write about armed conflict if it's been over for 2000 years and they turn it into a book.

Hey thanks! Obviously I have more to catch up on but I did check out your piece on the modern games industry and classifying yourself as a "gamer". I agree that these days I never feel like part of the industry zeitgeist, but there are so many ways to play now and I find so many games I enjoy that I don't feel lesser for it.

Is 15 MB too much image on one page? Should I think about compressing those?
15MB is larger than my entire site

Really it's not too big, but it might create a loading issue for some people. You can try opening it in MS paint and resaving as the same file type without any editing, sometimes that cuts down on space for whatever reason. Saving as PNG is pretty good about preserving quality and cutting down on size too.
for what 15 mb?!!!!
