A little digging and it should in theory work via Wine (and the original games definitely do!).

I have been thinking about creating a "From Windows to Linux" page also. I too have seen the hell that is Windows 11 having installed it for others, so Windows 10 is the last for me with Ubuntu installed along side it on my main computer. I just need to get Wine to work for a couple of things.

latest update on the linux migration for a while.
Finally someone in my age range...! Also, I had a very similar experience to yours. Moved from windows 10 to Open Suse Tumbleweed and found perfect alternatives for everything I needed. Doubt I'll ever look back.
proton has made linux much easier :) at least for games
