on "validity to real-life collections" - I completely agree. I have a small collection of antique porcelain dolls, and it wouldn't really work for a digital collection because there's not like anything about these dolls online they simply don't exist. As well each has their own story to tell with their previous owners and stuff. The internet is an ethereal place and it doesn't deal with that well.

I had a little on this originally but I cut it out for length, but on reflection it's definitely important enough that i should have kept it.
Just checked out your perfume collection too! Until smell-o-vision comes around I think we'll have to keep collecting those in person, too... (how is every page on ur site so beautiful omg)
Yeah there are some things I will always want a physical thing of, esp. stuff like perfume haha. but honestly you've inspired me to maybe start some digital collections!! at the very least a virtual shelf could be a fun way to display a wish list on my site. and ty for your kind words!! <3 I love making my pages visual and fun so it means a lot.
