I was thinking about aero music the other day and came up with "Watch Us Work It" (2007) and "Fresh" (2010) by Devo.

finally i got round to putting an instrument list for "d to the 3rd power" on the synth tunes page. it only took 2 fricken months... and i still can't find what i did with "quest of adventure's" sequence file :(

just for completeness, i made some assumptions about what instruments "quest" uses and just put those. if i ever find the sequence file again, i'll fix whatever's wrong.

i decided to make the "welcome to the sims 1" page the first page in a whole new section about that game. we're going to talk about cheats, exploits, building tips, gameplay tips, and how to use the game to tell stories. depending on whether i can scrounge $60 from somewhere, possibly even downloads. moved to /thesims/legacy/index.html

if you're hosting your own website on your own server (or are exploring doing that because of neocities+ai), also consider hosting an invidious instance. the official list is down to 1 site, down from 24 when I put up the link to invidious.io early last year. its future relies on forcing google staffers to continuously play whac-a-mole with invidious instances.

also a reminder that you can install invidious with a little command line work to have your own private instance, rather than needing to rely on THE ONLY public one.

invidious is an ad-free, tracker-free youtube frontend. when you search for something in invidious, it searches for those keywords (and ONLY those keywords) on youtube, then when you click on something to play it, it loads the raw video data in its own player, preventing google doing any analytics on you.
