Pretty robin and bicycle photographs! That "Winter through a window" photograph looked quite ancient to me until I saw it was from 2015...
i like taking notes of stuff i read/watch/play/etc. usually if i am on my laptop id have a set of thousands of markdowns (that i later cleaned up and started accessing them with obsidian because of the graph thing) i write notes on in an "organised" manner. but when im not its between a little notebook i carry around or the stock notes app in my phone, depending which is closer
found out its really helpful to just keep the notebook on me at all times with a pen in it just so i dont end up wanting to note something down but without anything to write on. every so often i sit down and "port" those in the mds on my pc. the amount of notes i take increased so much since i started carrying the notebook (since i kinda dislike typing on my phone). maybe that can help
@freckleskies I too have book notes in various places. I prefer to keep them in a large ring-binder I have, but they might start in my daily journal, or in the case of ebooks as bookmarks and highlights on my kindle.
... I also have various .txt files from things I watch on Youtube, but ultimately I don't like that I keep such notes that just get filed away and don't develop into something more.
I can't be arsed to care about holidays in general as well. Social events offend far too many of my sensory issues, and I can't get over how arbitrary they really are. Just "let us all get together and perform these rituals because the Earth is in approximately the same place in its orbit as it was when we last did them."
There's been all sorts of stuff purported to have been discovered on the Moon and Mars. Pyramids being a big one. Also in Antarctica. Most of it is obviously BS but some of it does make me wonder.
@koshka Yes, Antarctica is another fascinating area I have read about... A pyramid there, Nazi bases, and the hollow/flat earth theories.
Happy Christmas Everyone! I've run out of doors on the Advent Calendar but I still have the final segment of Dickens' The Christmas Tree to add... a busy day tomorrow may delay that.
Happy Christmas to you as well!! Quite an... interesting poem, that one. I suppose that's why you don't doze off drunk and nude knowing you'll soon have company...
