For some reason, Waterfox, and my mobile Android browser are fixated on the old Matrix Zone after changing the home page to a more simplified style more reminiscent to Windows 3.1

You may have done this already, but have you tried clearing your cache on either browser?

that sounds like an idea, but I think the browser also takes time to adjust.

I just got word that the real life Suzanne Somers has had to undergo some surgery after some painful fall she had. She is going to turn 76 this month, so, let's pray that this beautiful senior citizen celebrity survives. 🙏🏻💖👠👱‍♀️

it's like, first I started to revise the layout of a community with a fictitious version of this awesome starlet, and now I find news about the IRL Suzanne having some difficult times with her physical health..

I'd like to announce, that the new home page is now a simple two-way junction between the old homepage, and the site map, but an idea for a new home page is being brainstormed as we speak.

for some weird reason, some web browsers still load The Matrix Zone homepage.

https://empeethree.neocities.org/MatrixZone.html As SEFY has had a major overhaul with new pages being created, and Windows 95/3.1 nostalgia aesthetics being applied to new pages, The old home page has just been repurposed as some eye candy, which I have named The Matrix Zone!

Now, the Network Neighborhood has been created, so now Suzanne (and the other Suzanne as well) has a dedicated page for the 88x31 buttons that make Neocities world go round. Both for supporters of mine, and the nostalgic 88x31 buttons that characterize 90s Internet.

Well, I did say that there would be a hybrid of references to Windows 95 and Windows 3.1. I went with the Windows 3.1 style window buttons since I felt that real nostalgia would come from here. But, I also wanted to have a playful reference to the Network Neighborhood feature of Windows 95 which was used for navigating computer networks, but we are here on the Internet which is a bigger network body.

90s computer nostalgia sure is enjoyed by people like us, I've been implementing a hybrid of Windows 95 and Windows 3.1 aesthetics on my site, thought I'd share this story since you also like old DOS era computers too. IMO, Windows 95 is an enhanced version of DOS.

Yeah, I remember being able to log out of Windows 95 and get to a default DOS prompt where I could run some old games and Demoscene files that didn't work in windows.

My new plan for visual layout of new HTML pages for this SEFY site that our lovely lady Suzanne Vega is the computer technician of, is going to involve a visual theme using a hybrid of Windows 95 and Windows 3.1 aesthetics. You can request Windows XP visuals if you also want those in addition to 3.1 and 95.

I started getting interested in adding more Windows 95 and Windows 3.1 style icons after coming up with ideas for a collage on a brochure-style image for this site. The pre-XP era of Windows is one that really characterizes Geocities 90s nostalgia!
