just wanted to say that I love the aesthetic of your website so much!! its so nostalgic and whimsical and the cooking mama aspects especially really remind me of when I was a kid :-)

tysm this means a lot since the nostalgia/whimsicality in question are something i've always thought have been my personal identifiers because i'm literally (or i try to be) the embodiment of silliness both on and offline and i live in my head @ any given point of time..so to have my website reflect exactly that would mean i'm succeeding in bringing my identity's essence to paper (screen? lol)

Such an adorable little site :-) it's also really cool to find someone who loves Habibi funk!! Do you have a particular album you like? My all-time favorite is 'modern music' by Al Massrieen!!

I'm early in my habibi funk expedition so I've only heard a handful of albums but I really like Marzipan by Charif Megarbane, and Orkos by Maha. I'll check out Al Massrieen!! :D

I really loved everything in your gallery, and the sketchbook layout (and its contents) is insane. I think we have a lot of similar interests haha; I hope even more young people look into the good parts of the 60s/70s. I look forward to more updates!!

P.S. your whole website looks like the inside of my wife and I's early '70s time capsule house, so I think you nailed the aesthetic

This made my day, it's so sweet!! :-) Looking at your site, (it's SO cool btw) I can see what we do have similar interests which makes me happy. I love seeing a fellow metropolis (1927) fan out in the wild!!

Appreciate the kind words and stoked for more updates :) Yes, mostly thrifted too! It's possible, just takes years to collect all the stuff. We also live in the midwest so everything is cheap at thrift and antique stores
