I wanted a place to track the things I've read or watched or played or whatever this year, so here we are! Click on the tab for a little review--honestly this list is far from complete, and some stuff will receive longer reviews, but yay! New page!!
Love that you have a media log page now! It'll be fun to read your thoughts on things :-)
@vashti thank you Vashti!! I enjoy reading your thoughts on things too, and reviews from many others too! Joining in will be fun--ooh, and if you have recs, then please feel free to share them too!! ;u;
have you watched the yokohama shopping log ovas? they make me cry every time (positive)
Have you seen Mob Psycho? I can't explain why, but I think you'd really enjoy it. & if you like slice of life like Yokohama Shopping Logs, then I think you should read Yotsuba. You mentioned Azumanga Daioh, and they're by the same mangaka (I think)
And this is very random, but i'd love to hear your thoughts on this short novel called Ghost Wall, by Sarah Moss. It's not a book I normally recommend to others, though I do think it's very good & I think about it often.
@dollarchive not yet!! I wanted to finish the manga first, but now I haveeeee, it's TIME!
@vashti haha, you have me pegged! You know, I started Mob Psycho a long time ago and loved what I saw, so that's going to go on my to-watch list next! And YEAH, Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba have the same mangka... Yotsuba is SO cozy and endearing, that's another I need to pick up again ; __ ;
@vashti I haven't heard of Ghost Wall, and it seems so fascinating?? Thank you for the rec, it seems like an interesting read!! :o
Hehe I'm glad that my recs were on target :3 & Ghost Wall is really cool & super short. You could read it in way less than a day. I picked it up at the library once on a whim- No regrets :)!
@vashti some of my favorite reads (and media) in general are short ones where like. Every word and minute counts, and they end up creating an impactful experience. Totally going to check it out!!
