Creating a website has been one of my best decisions I've made this year! From learning new skills and meeting awesome, fascinating people... what a blessing!! ♡♡ ANYWAY, I've rambled enough!! Everybody's creativity and care inspires me, and I really want to do something to give back! Thank you a ton again for sharing this shape!! ;u; ♡♡♡
It's been great watching your museum expand!! Do you have any ideas on what you want to do to "give back?" Maybe you could hold a contest or something!
I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying your time on the web Sarah :) I always look forward to seeing your updates & will be sending you psychic tea party waves from my computer.
@vivarism ahhh thank you for your kind words!! Though I ended up figuring out what I want to do right away, a contest sounds so fun!! ;u; Will remember that!!
@vashti aww Vashti, I look forward to your updates too. ; __ ; I love reading your journal entries and thoughts on things, they're so insightful! The psychic tea party waves are scrumptious and may manifest into something else sooner rather than later 👀
@notprincehamlet thank you so much!! It wasn't hard to make but I think it's cute!
me, ignoring the other stuff on my site to-do list: hmmmm what to work on next........!!
I was bored tonight (and busy procrastinating on my writing for NaNoWriMo lmao), so I created a page dedicated to various lolita-adjacent links and resources!!
Ooooh so honored to be part of the list with my little guide ;-; ♡♡♡ (also lot of really good ressources in there !)
@datura it's such a good guide, especially for newcomers! You break things down in a really easy to understand way... and thank you, I'm so happy you like it!! ;u; If you have suggestions of anything I should add, then please let me know too! ♡♡
@maplebear thank you so much Maple, I think it'll be a useful way to keep track of my media intake across the year, and it's nice to have one place for everything! ;u;
I wanted a place to track the things I've read or watched or played or whatever this year, so here we are! Click on the tab for a little review--honestly this list is far from complete, and some stuff will receive longer reviews, but yay! New page!!
Love that you have a media log page now! It'll be fun to read your thoughts on things :-)
@vashti thank you Vashti!! I enjoy reading your thoughts on things too, and reviews from many others too! Joining in will be fun--ooh, and if you have recs, then please feel free to share them too!! ;u;
have you watched the yokohama shopping log ovas? they make me cry every time (positive)
Have you seen Mob Psycho? I can't explain why, but I think you'd really enjoy it. & if you like slice of life like Yokohama Shopping Logs, then I think you should read Yotsuba. You mentioned Azumanga Daioh, and they're by the same mangaka (I think)
And this is very random, but i'd love to hear your thoughts on this short novel called Ghost Wall, by Sarah Moss. It's not a book I normally recommend to others, though I do think it's very good & I think about it often.
@dollarchive not yet!! I wanted to finish the manga first, but now I haveeeee, it's TIME!
@vashti haha, you have me pegged! You know, I started Mob Psycho a long time ago and loved what I saw, so that's going to go on my to-watch list next! And YEAH, Azumanga Daioh and Yotsuba have the same mangka... Yotsuba is SO cozy and endearing, that's another I need to pick up again ; __ ;
@vashti I haven't heard of Ghost Wall, and it seems so fascinating?? Thank you for the rec, it seems like an interesting read!! :o
Hehe I'm glad that my recs were on target :3 & Ghost Wall is really cool & super short. You could read it in way less than a day. I picked it up at the library once on a whim- No regrets :)!
@vashti some of my favorite reads (and media) in general are short ones where like. Every word and minute counts, and they end up creating an impactful experience. Totally going to check it out!!
Updating my media log with stuff from earlier this year and more recently!
