At some point I want to write a section about the history of tea parties as a tradition in the lolita subculture, but it'll take some research! I love the Megan Follows Anne of Green Gables movies, that tea scene is pretty iconic, I'm trying to remember any others that are iconic, I feel like I have one or two to suggest.

oh! that tea scene in Princess Diaries where she goes "shut up!". it's not very long, but it is pretty iconic. And also the many lovely tea scenes in ouran high school host club, the tea sets are animated beautifully.

when i reached the iconic tea parties section, i was like "this better include the boston tea party" :D i'm glad you did not disappoint me like that! the entire page is absolutely delightful ♥ i love that you included some recipes too! i bookmarked the earl grey shortbread recipe, will definitely be making some. tea is the most popular drink in russia btw, and i'm pretty sure i chug my own body weight in tea daily :D
