i need like a full screen code editor
Importing a website from the code editor to Neocities was a migrain and a half when I did it that way. Mainly because I overhauled every page to be in the new theme. But singular pages might work fine.
If you're worried about your number of updates, try using https://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_default. I use it, and it allows you to display what the page looks like before you make the update here.

wait people actually use the neocities editor? I use notepad++, I don't like the neocities editor because it doesn't always save your progress for some reason, but I don't know if that's just on my end. Also by having all html files on my pc means I have a backup if anything ever happens to the website
