You probably already know this, but if the paper backing is bothering you, a lot of older stamps are able to be separated from paper with just a bit of water (I believe this is still true for Canadian and some European stamps these days, but definetly not modern USA stamps) there's a lot of tutorial videos online on how to go about soaking stamps safely! :D
god bless ;-; i think i must be allergic to googling things before doing them... i'll have to try this though!
!!! thank you! i need to send more snail mail to my friends and family to get some new stamps hehe
STAMPSSSSSS ♥_♥ love all of them but especially the snoopy one! (also seconding what localfool said - it's rather easy to remove paper from the stamps that aren't self-adhesive by soaking them in water)
I am sooooo jealous of your Snoopy stamp!! Also, how did you go about scanning these & making them transparent? I want to make a stamps page so I'd like to learn your methods lol
snoopy love 4 ever (it was on my graduation card!). i just arranged each colour group on the blank side of some index cards, used my phone's notes app to scan (but then took a screenshot of the scan bc i dont need a pdf), sent the sc to my laptop and put them through remove.bg
WHAAAAAT I have literally only met one other person in my whole life who is a dual aussie american. and that was in an airport!!! we gotta talk
(i tried to send a message through the email form thingy you have on your site, but it gave a weird error message. is there another way to email/get in touch?)
! thank you! i got the code from this site called mf2fm, which has scripts and instructions for various text, cursor, and image effects. the typing effect is called "wipe out text" and is in the "latest updates" section of the site's front page
hell yeah gotta love franz ferdinand! and the music player is winamp/webamp! i followed dokodemo's tutorial and then downloaded a skin from the internet archive
ok it seems like he got rid of the tutorial i used from his site (not sure how i found it then lol), but i can send any links i used your way if you want
waaa thank you! that means a lot to me!! i love the cozy style of your site and i cant wait to see what else you add to your wardrobe and library pages :D
I am sorry about the driving stuff, but all of your knickknacks seem so cool! If you ever post your stamps, you have to let me know bc Vashti is a stamp collector!
thanks :') and i will!! already have sorted them by colour, so i'm excited to find a way to add them to my site!
Yay I'm so excited :-) I'm wanting to upload mine as well, but I'm unsure how to go about it. I'm thinking that I'll get a dedicated album for them & then scan its pages, but idk yet. I've been keeping my stamps in a plastic kitchen container lol
i have a pic of a tv (box1) and i have made the screen transparent so i can put an iframe (box2) inside it. the iframe is in a lower z-index, so it goes behind the tv. i have box1's pointer event set to none, and box2's/the iframe's pointer event set to auto. still cant interact w the iframe ;-;
i feel like i have checked every substack thread possible lmao
If I knew anything about coding, I'd help you, but I don't, so my thoughts & prayers will have to suffice lol
