I've always looked at Japan from afar with admiration and I didn't know their society had this issue. Thank you for writing that, and letting me learn about it. I'll follow your site for a long time.
got me thinking - there is the scene where serufu's bike gets broken, and the DIY club leader comes by and is able to fix it on the spot. but on the other hand, what if that automated bus broke down? that would almost certainly be a "yield" situation.
