I just wanna say... thank you. us gals over 35 with straining eyesight really need big font sizes to read comfortably without having to zoom in. you inspire me, i'm about to change the font size on my website myself. thanks.

readability has always been a priority in my site design since it's like 95% text

disneyland seems to be terrifying dark magic that somehow topples scientology https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_adult

i also think the "everybody worships something" is an interesting quote, i think i perhaps worship the idea of perserverance itself

you may want to read the rest of the quote... ctrl+F "worship" on my notebook page

When I was in Beijing in August I also had that crazy feeling of being busy all day and sleeping like 4 or 5 hours a night (on the floor), but somehow being filled with energy and able to do all sorts of writing. then as soon as i got home the magic was gone!

yellow for q1, blue for q2 (random guess) https://files.catbox.moe/7mc7nr.jpg | what is the removal process like? separate quote or do the customers do it themselves?

yeah i tend to be like that while travelling too, i don't understand the "lay around the pool/beach all day" crowd and it's frustrating when travel companions cannot match my energy

here's a key: https://suboptimalism.neocities.org/secret/key.jpg | removal is included because it takes 1/10th the effort to yank them down (especially from rooflines), lights are ours so we take them with us

thought that sand brick thing was an apartment complex. there are no results online of "el cajon donjon" ヽ(Β΄γƒΌο½€)γƒŽ -- one product that'd be interesting to offer would be programmable lights which they can modify through website/app, but programmable lights prob are expensive

the reason it doesn't come up is because i made up that term last year... it's some kind of government building notable for being by far the largest in the whole valley. there are these new programmable "govee" permanent house lights but we hate putting them up because the adhesive they come with sucks

I laughed so much at the end of your 'learning japanese' guide. It was truly unexpected lol.

don't read too much into it... i just unearthed that term from the first page of my notebook, where the deepest section (the oldest) is at the top. one day i hope to have a legitimate Z entry, perhaps by finally writing my novella titled "zugzwang"

would you consider enabling reader mode on your site? I read it frequently but this new theme really makes me motion sick bc I'm a pussy

Your article "Unconventional Wisdom" is relatable and thought provoking and does a good job at showing how one’s passion can be easily undermined by environmental politics- power struggle is inherent in our culture...so your piece has a universal application..applies to any context. Fantastic write! I’m adding you to my favorites page.

i think another big part of the struggle is just how complicated things have gotten - every domain is blanketed by an overwhelming array of rules, regulations, permits, bureaucracy in general, and it's easily paralyzing if you don't have the capacity to handle it, like enough money to hire departments full of lawyers and other specialists

I organize library events for a living, so I feel the pain of so much of this and at the same time am grateful I've never had to use an event to turn a profit.

Extremely entertaining writing about something totally inconsequential to my life, as per usual. I'm glad I waste my time on your website.
